Pearl Pigment:

High quality pearl pigments widely applied in plastics, printing inks and coatings. Pearl pigments are consisted of a mica core surrounded by several metal oxide layers. Different glosses are obtained by changing the oxides. The excellent chemical, thermal and mechanical properties of pearl pigments provide universal application possibilities in paints, printing inks, plastics and many other industries, and they provide the products with a new color quality.

Pearl pigments are physiologically non-toxic and can be used in food packaging and toys for children. They have excellent resistance to diluted acids and alkalis. Pearl pigments are environmentally harmless as they are practically insoluble in water and do not contain any heavy metals. They are generally classified as non-polluted to water quality. Pearl pigments are not flammable and not self-igniting, they do not conduct electricity and have excellent heat resistance up to **0C. This product can also be used as luster pigments for reactive paints such as radiation cured systems (electron beam curing, UV curing).Their chemical structure allows for excellent dispersion making them appropriate for water based coatings.
